I'm seeking ideas for a job that's working around people, but in a relaxed environment?

I've been trying to come up with some ideas for a job that's in a relaxed environment, and in which I'll have some contact with people. I need all I can get. I realize that there's a little stress everywhere, but some environments have to be a little less stressful and competitive, right?

I'm okay with a little stress, but I just don't want to be someplace where say, if I make a mistake, somebody dies or goes to jail or something.

Well unfortunately stress and competitiveness can exist anywhere. Certain industries have better attitudes, but I would say it is better look for the right sort of job.

Take the tourism industry for example. You could imagine this to be fairly relaxed, everyone is relaxed and enjoying themselves. But you end up spending the whole time fixing people's little day to day problems.

What you need to find is the right sort of supportive environment, where people encourage each other. I feel very stressed when I am working and my boss is sneaking around behind my back, collecting secrets, changing things at the last minute and blaming people. On the other hand, if my boss is supportive then the work environment is very relaxed.

I can think of all the jobs I have done, from computer support, to psychology research and it is the work environment not the occupation that makes a difference.

I know lot's of people that are involved with various different companies and work in a relaxed environment. Some people work out of their home doing something easy and make an incredible amount of income. Some people work out of their home too.
