No.

There are cases, and not just in the third world, but no officially recorded figures regarding deaths in the third world from this cause.

On the second link, it refers to deaths in Kuwait for example, this is not a third world country.

Theres probably more people injured on Guy Fawkes night in the UK than by falling bullets in wars.Look at how many casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan have been caused by road accidents, driving around out there is a lot more dangerous.STATISTICS MY A.R.S.E.

I was on patrol in Basra the night that Saddam's sons were killed. We were on the outskirts of the city looking for fuel smugglers.
The whole city lit up with tracer fire, just like you see in WW2 films of bombing raids. We didn't know WTF was going on and we were out of radio range from our HQ. We just sat in the back of our APC for about an hour listening to rounds hitting the metal roofs of the buildings nearby and watching the whole thing through the vision blocks . We didn't dare drive through the city until it died down a bit. Maddest thing Ive ever seen in my life.

I have often stated this, what goes up, comes down, the thick bastards doing the shooting are to dense to see this ! A spent bullet coming down on someones noggin can do a hell of a lot of damage due to the velocity that it falls at !

While spaceships may burn up on re-entry bullets do not, what goes up tends to come down hard.

How would it be possible anyway to monitor all the situations were gun-shots are let off in celebration???
