I would like to know its relation with meals, your bowel habits and associated symptoms.
Gall bldder or liver pain is on the right side.
You need more investigations like-
complete blood picture, USG abdomen, Esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy.
Can you suggest your doctor these?

I have a suggestion, not a diagnosis. There isn't enough information to figure out what you have.
There is a bend in your colon called the splenic flexure. I have sent you a link with a diagram of the colon so you can see where it is. Left side, below ribs. The colon takes a sharp turn there, and it is the highest place in the colon if your are sitting or standing.
Gas collects there because it is the highest place. Once the gas collects there, it doesn't matter whether you lay down or not, it is still there.
The only quick way to get the gas out is to put yourself in a position where your rear end is higher than your splenic flexure. So the bubble can rise to the top. Some people stand on their heads, but you need not get extreme. Take deep abdominal breaths and see if anything rises.
It helps if you take simethicone (Gas-x or anything cheaper) before you do this. Simethicone will not absorb the gas as the commercials suggest, but it will cause tiny bubbles to coalesce into big ones that are easier for your colon to move.
The pain from gas is caused by distention of the colon. The only sensory nerves you have in your colon respond only to distention. You don't have to be totally bloated to have gas pain.
So that is my suggestion. It could very well be something else, but there aren't that many organs in that area.
I hope this helps. If it doesn't, you know what you don't have.

You should check this Sciatica Natural Treatment
http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica. Try a reputable chiropractor ASAP!

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/q15Y5
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

I recommend that you seek medical attention. Sometimes I receive chest pains from stress but nothing very severe and they usually last very short periods of time. The longer you wait from getting professional advice, the longer you will worry without an answer.

It could be anything from an impacted colon to cancer..it's best to let a doctor tell you what it is. Go see your primary care doctor, if you don't have one then go to one who specializes in Internal Medicine. He/She can refer you to an Gastroenterologist, or at the very least start blood work to get the process started to find out what it is. You can't wait, it could be a matter of life of death.

Patients with chronic abdominal pain represent a diagnostic enigma. Because of the many potential causes for the pain The list of possible diagnostic tests is extensive. IN your case many structural causes have been excluded. It may be necessary to repeat some of the tests in an attempt to make the diagnosis. Before reaching such a decision, your physician should repeat a detailed history and physicial examination.
Many causes of left side abdominal pain made worse by lying down: could be hiatal hernia, ulcerative colitis, IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome; adhesions from previous abdominal surgery; Chronic pancreatitis -hx of prolonged duration; constipation, diverticulosis, PID or Pelvic Inflammatory disease.;STD or UTI ( urinary tract infections) ; bladder and kidney infections; bowel obstruction.
Gastric ulcer pain typically gets worse after eating, for instance, while pain associated with a duodenal ulcer tends to subside. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is often linked to alcohol, caffeine, or chocolate and may be exacerbated by lying flat shortly after eating
If your patient is a woman, pain in either the right or left lower quadrant could also be caused by an ectopic pregnancy or a ruptured ovarian cyst. Similarly, pain in the suprapubic or lower abdomen could be the result of a urinary tract infection, mittelschmerz (ovulation pain), or pelvic inflammatory disease.
Regardless of the patient's gender, diverticulitis is a possible cause of lower left quadrant pain. If the pain comes from the left upper quadrant, possibilities include acute pancreatitis, gastritis, and injury or inflammation of the spleen
Hypoactive or no bowel sounds may be the result of peritonitis, paralytic ileus, mesenteric thrombosis, narcotic overdose, bowel ischemia, or hypokalemia.
The typical pain of acute pancreatitis is exacerbated by lying down and relieved by sitting up. Pain that is relieved by eating or taking antacids suggests duodenal ulcer disease, whereas diffuse abdominal pain that appears 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals suggests intestinal angina.
Other causes of left lower abdominal pains could be gastroenteritis, polyps and colorectal cancers.and bowel obstructions.
