Follow proper nutrition. There is not one food that makes you slim and fit, it's all of the good ones combined! XD You have to learn how to balance your intake of all foods (sweets, protiens, fats, vitamins, cholestorol).
Think of it this way, next time you reach for a brownie or something, pause and think "this is horrible for me! It's loaded with sugar. If I am craving sugar so much, then why don't I grab some fruit instead: it taste good and has natural suger which is much better for me".
You have to know your foods, that's all there is to it. Try looking at a nutrition chart.

Obviously you will have to eat your five fruit and veg a day if you want silky smooth skin, and drink lots of water. One thing I do recommend is to drink 3 tablespoons of honey a day, my aunt swears by that and she has the most glowing skin I have ever seen. Supple and luscious.
If you want a quick fix, use some of the creams from the Medditerranian line at Boots. They are amazing.
