Hi, please can someone advise me?
We thats myself, husband, 2 daughters aged 4 and 6 have tried every way we know possible to try and emigrate to Australia.
In every catagory we seem to come up against a hurdle.
I have 3 children that are in their 20s and left home, all in happy relationships, but that stops us on last remaining relative, even though my mum, dad, brother, auntie, uncle, cousins are all there.
My mum and dad arent in the best of health, my dad has had a major back op and waiting for 2 knee replacements, my mum has a hip replacement but they are not sick enough for us to apply for a carers visa.
Although both myself and my husband have both worked hard, neither of us has a skill so that doesnt help.
I am 44 and hubbies 39.
My brother is a warrant officer in the Australia navy and is in Sydney my parents are in Queensland.
I look at all the peoplle let into Oz on humanitarian and refugee grounds and wonder if there is a way?
If we came on visitor visa would they let u stay

Where are you from? I get the feeling that you would be ineligible for a refugee visa based on the grounds that you are not fleeing a country at war or in danger of your lives being lost. Humanitarian.. you could ask for an extension on a visa if your parents were dying... but I don't think that that would get your citizenship or even permanent residence. I don't think you fall into a category where you need "Australia's protection" which is aimed at refugees and those going under humanitarian causes.

"The Humanitarian Program comprises two components: offshore resettlement for people in humanitarian need overseas; and onshore protection for those people already in Australia who arrived on temporary visas or in an unauthorised manner, and who claim Australia’s protection." According to DIAC website.

Australia's lets in less than 15% of refugees that apply. Which is pretty much average around the world.

Talk to an immigration lawyer. You can check the skilled migrant list. It does change twice a year and they are forever changing.

There is no harm in trying. Just complete the documents and be able to prove that you can shoulder the expenses during the stay in Australia.
