What do you think of her parenting?

I think, although the media can blow things out of proportion, she has endangered his kids life, welfare and mental and emotional health. With the help of media changing facts for a good story. Pictures don't lie.
Yeah we all muck up and NO ONE is a perfect parent. And yes we don't have to deal with the public knowing everything we do muck up on, but she seemed to not even try to appear like a parent who cares about her's childs total welfare. And care what the camera's saw.
As a parent we are expected to give guidance and protection as well as teach our children what is correct and wrong. But Britney seems to have got this aspect confused.
Her children, although I am sure she loved them at some times when convienant, were suffering. Parents who TRULLY love their kids don't drag them out late at night. Leave them alone to go party. Teach them to get "Mommies lollipops." Or drive with a baby on your lap. And spend more than an hour a day with them.
Although Kevin IS NOT A PERFECT OR DESCENT parent either. I don't think it was safe for Britney to have the burdon of her children anymore. And her kids needed a break from the environment. Who knows Kevin just may become a better parent, still not perfect, with full resposiblity for the kids.
Maybe...
And maybe Britney will now have the time and reasons to finally seek help and get herself together.
Taking a child from a parent is not taken lightly. So regardless of what the papparazi have made of her antics some things must have been correct and other things VERY WRONG.

I feel that Britney needs help, that she has had too much, too soon for someone so young. Those kids need a stable enviroment, something Britney obviously can not provide. She doesn't learn from her mistakes, and unfortunately, the kids will suffer from it. The bottom line, Britney needs to get her head on straight, and the kids need to be turned over to someone that can provide stability for them until she gets her life in order.

At this stage in her life she is unstable and yes she did deserve to loose custody of her kids, so they are safe. However she also needs to be given a chance to rehabilitate herself and have a second chance with her kids. We all make mistakes and some times need help to see the light. We can't really comment because we have never had to cope with all the stress put on a celebrity in Hollywood.

I think she must be feeling very guilty right now. I don't think she was a good parent or she would have acted more responsible. She doesn't seem to be putting them first. She seems selfish and puts herself first without consideration for the children she brought into the world. I do feel sorry for her, maybe she just can't handle being a celebrity. Maybe she doesn't have the maternal instincts that most women have. It so hard to understand.

She went to a tanning bed after losing her kids for god sake !!!!!!!!!! That doesnt cry out that she is grieving for her children
Yes i think its right she lost them.... Shes a bad mother. The courts sternly warned her that if she continued to drink and party this was going to happen, she was tested weekly, and she continued to party. Therefore she did not care as long as she was having fun. OR SHE WOULD HAVE STAYED HOME AND BEEN A MOM !!!
Her mother is siding with her ex husband because he is the one that seems to have the child's best interest in mind. At least he is the one that appears to be more so in the eyes of the court. And having the maternal grandmother on his side pulled alot of weight in court. Her ex told her to get help or he was going after the kids...... She blew him off....
They did say TEMP. so if she wants that status to change she will get the help she needs. and clean up her life to give the children a stable parent. The nanny, and everyone near her reported she was an unfit mother.
Just because you give birth to a child does not mean you should be the one being the one to solely raise the child. If you are a mom you should put the children before anything Else. That includes parties, and a social life.
If she wasnt a star the courts would have done it long ago, and most of the ones saying it was wrong would be on the childs side NOT HERS. She is not acting in best interest of those children !!!! Now she has NO REASON to not stay in rehab !!

Most have NO PROBLEM with SAHM 's but your gonna bash a dad for doing the same.... Are you saying SAHM's dont need child support payments? The parent that is taking care of the children is intitiled to support payments !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE. If a wealthy man lost custody of HIS children, everyone would think... OH HE NEEDS TO PAY OUT THE NOSE IN SUPPORT. THATS not fair to turn around and think its horible her having to pay....... MOMS should have to support their children aslso if they lose the kids....
She really isnt working either.... because not many want to touch her........ in the industery at this point after the VMA. She was clearly strung out.

Oh come on! We all know how spoiled and immature she is! She got herself pregnant when every stars around her had the "bump". She should do more soul searching in herself before she decided to have the second one. All the media has been covering bad bad news about her. She's on drugs, alcohol, speeding and leave the accident scene? Is this the type of role mommy for babies? But she never give herself a chance to redeem. Oops! I've done it again....is all too familiar for this failing pop mommy.

She is an idiot. She's told she has to take random drug and alcohol tests then goes out partying the same nite??? She didn't want them kids anyway!! She turned them over 2 days early. A good mother would have wanted to spend every last second with her kids. Hell yeah she deserves to lose her kids. K-fed is no winner but hell, he's better than Bratney. Bet she's out partying right now! She's a loser!!! Maybe she shaved off part of her brain along with her hair.

I do not know really because i do not know her.
I have not seen her with her kids in real life. Face to face.
From what i have seen on TV i think that she shouldn't be almost dropping her kid, or driving with her kid on her lap. I think she shouldn't be out partying because once you have kids those days are and should be over with.
I think that she was not ready to have kids. I think that they should have not taken her kids away from her. The court could have ordered that while she is going to get help the kids could stay with her but under the supervision and help of her parents instead of those kids going to that money hungry ex bum of hers.

I am not a fan of Britney, but I felt for her today.
I think the outcome was a bit harsh and lead by the bad publicity. Personally I don't find her ex that good of a father, since he walked out on a baby from his ex wife. He just seems so money hungry.
I hope she works it all out and finds her grass roots.

First of all, I feel sorry for her. Seriously. It's got to be difficult, making some of the same mistakes we all make as parents, except she has to do it in the public eye, and under such scrutiny. For that I feel sorry for her.
But as for her behavior, I honestly believe that she has multiple issues going on. I think that she is (1) Bipolar. I am bipolar myself, and as someone who has experienced the symptoms, I honestly believe that she has this mental illness. Not to mention the fact that drug use, even occasionally, as well as alcohol use, can exaggerate even the mildest forms of bipolar disorder. (2) I believe she has symptoms of post-partum depression.
I'm not excusing her behavior, but I believe that she doesn't have people around her that have her best interests in mind. First, she married K-Fed, who may have loved her, but was certainly using her celebrity to his advantage. They divorced publicly and now that she's realized how many mistakes she's made, she unfortunately keeps making more of them. I feel sorry for her, but I just wish she would find quality people to surround her.
