No, baptism is not a free passport. Baptism is not some magic ritual that guarantees that one will be saved. God is not some sort of a magic genie lamp. There is no special incantation or ceremony that causes sins to be forgiven.
The forgiveness is in the blood of Jesus Christ. The power of the blood to forgive is infinite. There is no sin so despicable, no disgrace so vile, no sinner so depraved, that the blood of Jesus cannot forgive.
If all that was required to save people from their sins was baptism, then we would expect that believers all around the world to be out in the street, stopping traffic, yanking people from their cars, and dunking them into pools of water.

How significant is is that a guy or woman is born of the water and the Spirit? John 3:5 KJV; Mark sixteen:16KJV, Christ became baptized by way of complete immersion Mark a million:10 KJV being baptized or "sprinkled" as an toddler or new child or person for that remember isn't ultimate, the new child has no concept of what it potential.the twelfth century RCC replaced it because of the fact it became much less inconvenient (stable reason genuine? incorrect) there are not any loose passes to God's Kingdom the two. God Bless and happy Sabbath

No free passport to heaven. No once you are saved nothing else matters. Christian life is always striving to be God like. Communion, baptism, confession are all important.

The Bible doesn't agree with the teaching that all good people go to heaven, rather the purpose for man is to live on earth.
It is an earthly paradise that good , right hearted and loyal people to God will enjoy , and not heaven.
The idea that every good person goes to heaven is actually based on one of the first lies in mankinds history.
Satan told eve that should would become like God.
So it is no wonder that false religions today offer similar lies.

not only protestants believe in baptism. I'm pentecostal and i believe in the baptism in Jesus' name. and about the whole "breaking the law" after baptism thing, do you really think that after baptism people become saints or something? the bible clearly states that we are all sinners.. we'll sin either way! no ones perfect.. but that's what repentance is for.. to ask God for forgiveness. and about heaven or hell.. only God decides that. God Bless.

it depends what you call baptism. Sprinkling a baby=no. Being baptised with the holy spirit after accepting Jesus then yes. We are saved through grace, not through works. Once we accept Jesus as our savior our sins are covered. What would be the point of anything if we were saved after infant baptism? Why doesnt the Catholic Church slaughter their babies and send them to heaven?

The theology you're refering to is also called "once saved, always saved." I can gladly testify that I don't support this mainstream protestant belief. I am protestant but my faith requires me to depend on Christ, daily, for the ability to keep His ten commandments and testimony (sanctification). Baptism is simply a one-time public confirmation of my desire to follow Christ for the rest of my life (justification).
As for the free passport thing, Christ's death on the cross for our sins is the free passport to Heaven.

Baptism is not the way to be saved only by graced through faith.
Graced by God or free gift from god-which is Jesus Christ.
Just believe and accept Jesus christ in your heart as saviour and lord and after being accepted it should be followed by baptsim to ahow as obedience and picture out the death of Christ a and being ressurected and to walk in the newness of life.
It indicates that you burried your old sinned nature and everything become new.

NO.
Only a small number have a heavenly future.
(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.
Everyone else remains 'asleep' in death, in the grave, until they are resurrected [ Rev. 20; 12,13
