I heard that in glendale they are causing lots of problems with gangs, drugs, prostitution, riding in expensive cars and collecting welfare, etc etc. Then I came across this music video of a song I like

It's the agent!
I know plenty of Armenians but they are all pleasant, happy, smart people. I can't explain what is going on here. I guess this is not a good place to discuss political opinions,
I can't believe I just watched a Poison video!

I live in England and the only Armenians I have met are the ones that work in the Armenian restaurant in Manchester city centre. I have only been there twice but the people were nice and the food was nice.
I think in England it's not just a problem with people from Armenia that are involved in drugs/prostitution etc. We have people from all over Europe who come here because the UK is seen as a "soft touch" and it is easy to get a house (paid for by the government) and claim all sorts of benefits and they can top up their earnings and not pay tax on them by getting involved in the things you mentioned.
It's no coincidence that people travel right across Europe through just as wealthy countries such as Germany, France, Holland and decide to settle here in England. WE make life far too easy foe people who have no intention of working (in a legal job)

I have seen much worse video from Turks around the world and in Turkey so that does not make all of you, ignorant, uneducated, criminal or prostitute. It really does not concern me how you manipulate this Travel Turkey section and post unrelated questions, or just chat, or TRY to make fun of the Armenians which is racism.

I have personally never met any Armenians in my life. My image of them is that of a people with a rich culture and history. I am sorry for their sufferings from the war. Unfortunately a minority seems to be involved in criminal activities portraying a bad image on them. The first time I heard about them was in the TV drama 'The Shield' which I liked very much but even then I just took it as another story.
It seems to me that Armenia is a country forgotten by most people as it seems to be very peaceful with not much news coming out to the rest of the world.

Personally, I think every race has good and bad attributes but then recent activity has really changed my view. I sensed that most will blindly follow just because they are one and the same. "Alana is right, the troll is a doll" is the worse I've heard. If someone else from abroad heard something similar in addition to a chorus of hostile ayes. That would certainly leave a bad impression on anyone.
From what I've read, from the news as well as from the ones online, the image they portray are pushy and irrational cry babies and they want you to sympathize with them? I don't say this to malign. They had show better attitudes if they want to shift public perception or garner sympathy.
A person/s who influences another to hate which I admit I did notice of late is no good in my book. Feeding off of hate is addictive, I don't blame them for being what they are now. I just hope it won't consume them eventually.
