Potatoes if you must.

When you cook chicken, say by roasting or baking, lots of fat comes out. So if you fry it you want to fry it in a way the fat is still lost and not gained. The style say for example KFC do it is the worst, it not only retains is fat but soaks up more. So you are really piling on the bad stuff.

ps. Deep fried sausages are even worst.
