Amen to that! Im pentecostal too.. and i love our services! they are so NOT boring. i love the singing and dancing and praising God out loud! After all the bible does say:
Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD. [a]
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.
God Bless!!!

I'm typically quiet because I am overcome with awe by being in the presence of my Lord & Savior. If His real, sacred presence doesn't drive you to your knees in humility and gratitude, then nothing will.
But we're not always quiet. We also sing, recite psalms, pray together, greet each other in peace, etc., just like the Bible says. We're a little more orderly than your average Pentecostal service, because we know God is the God of order.
I used to be pentecostal and now I realize what a distraction that type of chaos can be. It's fine to praise the Lord with shouting and dancing and cymbals from time to time, but the Bible also says, "Be still and know that I am Lord." When worshiping in unison with many others, a more ordered and less frenzied exhibition of worship allows for more people to fully participate.

Actually, there is a very LARGE Catholic charismatic movement...they are VERY loud, do LOTS of praise and worship, and they even SPEAK IN TOUNGES!!
The coolest thing is they have the Eucharist!! Jesus Christ made present at the Mass, through the power of the Holy Spirit! Amen! The Catholic church is vast with many different ways of approaching God...the pentecostal way is not the only way one can worship.
By the way, I'm not at all charismatic, but I respect what they do within the Catholic Church..we are many parts, but all one body. Notice that the Catholic is still the same Church that was established by Christ and guided by the apostles
....but yet we have sooooooo soooo many different protestant denominations...hmmmmm I wonder....you can be unique but still one in the Catholic Church..we are all united by Jesus Christ..and this is expressed fully in the Eucharist at Mass!
Hope this Helps!

Just because you do not personally approve of the Catholic Mass doesn't mean God disproves.
You don't understand the catholic Mass any more than I understand the pentecostal service. With that in mind, please note that you do not see me questioning the pentecostal services. Do you?
God may or may not have problems with the pentecostal service. I don't know and I don't care because I am happy with my Church's Mass.
Obiously, you are happy with your pentecostal service, and that's fine. I have no problem with that. However, it does beg the question; Why do you question my Church's Mass when you know so little about it?

Having a service that is more like a circus or street festival does not originate with God.
It is part of 'the showy display' that characterizes mans way.
Mans way originates with the world and not with God.
The world is under the power of the wicked one , the wicked one is Gods enemy Satan.
So while you may claim this is your way of worship it isn't in harmony with Gods will., although being joyous is.
Instead of looking at the veneer of service you should look at the deeper more important things.
For example , your teachings.
Are they in line with Bible truth , or do you follow such pagan and unGodly teachings such as the trinity , hellfire and the immortal soul.
Even a pleasant or fun atmosphere in church means absolutely nothing , if indeed you are following the teachings of demons.

i am a Roman Catholic:) there is a time for everything isnt it?..a right time for creating noise and a right time for being quiet. We all have our different levels of spirituality and talents and God given intelligence too like Pentecostals, not everybody will know dancing isnt it, not everybody can sing, but for those who can, we have Catholic Charismatics, for those good with the dogmas/teaching/ preaching/ reaching out to others, we have different Catholic church organizations you can join were our God given talents can be used to help others who need them, and i do believe that salvation isnt just about just making a noise isnt it. Peace be with you and God bless us all.

There are a million billion Catholics interior the international, so it could be fairly absurd to declare that a million billion human beings are quiet in basic terms becasue your kin who handed off to be Catholic have been.

It's better than forcing yourself to do that kind of stuff. We behave how we feel.
I know many smily smily pentecostals who are depressed deep down.
