Let's say that a woman was an alcoholic. If her husband continued to bring alcohol home and always made it visible to his wife, most people would call that a little a**holish. However, when god does that, he loves us. I know that most people will say that the devil, not god, tempts us, but come on people. God created everything. Why can't he uncreate?

Relying on god is foolish, rely on yourself and take responsibility for your own actions

That's the old "God created rattlesnake poison" question.

As far as I can tell, we are here to make sure humans don't become extinct and we are stewards of the planet. We should be courteous, and take care of the animals and plants that are here in this delicate balance so we can all survive.

Everything else is personal preference that doesn't matter long-term. So stop fighting over opinions and get to work.

God does "uncreate"..but the believers choose not to "allow" God to be anything but the way they choose to see God...so, in most peoples' minds, God can only create ("good"), any "uncreation" or destruction MUST be the work of Satan, et. al.

Whatever happens, whether it is perceived as "good" or "bad" is God's will. God doesn't MAKE "bad" things happen, God merely ALLOWS "bad"things to happen....if God is the all-powerful entity God is purported to be.

People who say that God created everything are speaking out of ignorance of the truth and that is a false assumption.

Actually, the husband is committing a sin by his actions. Believers are not to be a stumbling block to other believers. Meaning, if you are doing something that you do not feel is a sin but a fellow Christian does and sees you doing it, you are actually tempting your fellow Christian to sin (to do something they know and feel is wrong in God's eyes). Am I my brother's keeper? YES! YOU ARE!

It is not God. It is their mutual karma (laws of cause and effect) , that brings that woman and husband to come to such a situation. Karmic effect = experiences = learning lessons
