I try to "pray" at least once a day. ;)

Uhmm...

Well, if we do talk about "atheists", they don't believe in a god. Or any deity. Atheism is also related to non-religion---most people and scholars even equate the two.

Now, to whom do people pray? To a deity, perhaps? Well, of course, it's a known fact that people--(hint, hint) who aren't atheists--pray to a god. And praying is very much directly involved with religion.

Now put two and two together and you will find the answer.

Well, am I helping? Hope I did.

I guess you do not know what an Atheist really is otherwise you would not have asked this question. However, I'll humor you. None because we do not believe in god and religion and therefore since prayer is associated with religion it is not for to pray

Three times.

I pray once in the morning that no religious solicitors come my door during the day.

I pray once when eating dinner that I don't see a religious figure in my food.

and I pray once before bed that Jesus doesn't try to visit me in my dreams.
