Well,(dusuncemi okudun) i was thinking about the same thing. But this is not new dear anlarm.
Maybe i always write the same thing but i feel the need to write it again. Some of us get violation notices for innocent answers, some of us get suspended for no reason but these questions aren't deleted yet.
Correct me if i'm wrong but these questions are violating the freaking community guide %100.
I don't know what they are waiting for. AMan gocunacak birseyimiz yok anlarm kendi seviyelerini gosteriyorlar.
The trolls show their own lack of intelligence.

Because Yahoo Answers is an unfair game. Whenever we write something to these people we always keep getting those violation things. But they can say everything to us and their profiles are still there. If a user is from the US or any Europe country they always have lots of rights to post silly questions and answers which are against Yahoo's TOS. Do you remember how long did it take for us to get Jean Charles suspended? Guess why? Because his account was registered from a Europe country. On the other hand the accounts of the users who are from Armenia easily gets suspended after one or two notifications just like us! And call it a fair game if you can...

I really can't find a reasonable answer for that. One of my questions (which could never possibly hurt or insult anyone) is deleted hours after i placed it.

But i see there are lots of harassing, insulting, racist questions stay for days although we report them. I only had two violation notices until now and i'm a member more than one year.I don't think they have a fair system. I mailed them and asked the same. They answered me as "we are going through the problem, will be back to you" which i don't think i'll receive an answer.

It's just frustrating.

Glitch in Yahoo's program most likely. They have a word filter that doesn't work and of course, owing to due diligence through numerous violations, they have found the right combination of words that bypass the mentioned filter. Wow, when you think of it, they went through all that trouble just to post questions here. "The more you hate, the more you love" ^_^.

One thing that Yahoo should scrap out is the term "trolls" and change them to say, "smurfs?" At least there are no dual or multiple meanings to the word. Everyone would know that one is referring to a cartoon character, instead of debating whether a troll is a doll (haha) or a character of folklore or a persona non grata on YA.

"No smurfing now, you Smurfs" ^_^.

That's a really good question. I don't have much experience with the violation system, but it is unusual. The whole "reputation" idea seems faulty. My one violation was for a tame answer to a very lewd question, and the question is still there.

There should be a way to see your reputation report, kind of like checking your credit rating. I would like to know if I have a good or bad or neutral reputation which might be preventing me from having any impact whatsoever on the obvious violations of others.

That's why Çetin protests the double standards of Yahoo, isn't it.

I guess the main reason is, with the help of double, triple, quadrible accounts, these trolls have reported us so many times that regular users are now under suspicion. You see, a software code cannot see what a normal human being would see. That's why there will never be machines as smart as human beings.

the persons that say that would want to be keen on logical fallacies. accordingly this is a Tu quoque. i think it matches properly with their determination of particular pleading, argumentum ad ignorantiam, argumentum ad populum and so on and so on.
