I much prefer sunny days as I have a touch of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and long periods of gray, foggy, and rainy days wear me down. I know we have to have the rain as well as the sunshine and thank God for both, but I sure do love a sunny day.

Rainy.
Primarily for reasons related to my surroundings being evenly and dimly lit in cool colours. Not only that, but I can sometimes manage a form of semi-echolocation when it rains.... by listening to the rain impacting off surrounding structures to give a better feel of buildings and objects in my vicinity.
None of that in the sun.
Oh vile sun that suits none but the plants and lizards.
All lighting becomes biased... blazing one side and shadowed the other. Heat permeates everything and causes a sense of immense discomfort. I can't even stand in direct sunlight too long or my brain frazzles. I've been lost in places I'm normally familiar with because of sunny weather, and been forced to seek shade beneath the nearest tree.
So rain wins for me by far...
And yet everyone else at work always complains about it.

I like days that are mostly sunny, with thunderstorms in the evening. I also like it when in the morning, the clouds are so low that they shroud the hills that surround this community, and then when the sun starts to come out, it shines through the clouds in beams. It's so stunning.

Sunny days of course...but we can always use the rain here. We are about 12 inches short.

Definitely sunny days. My dog doesn't like going for his walk in the rain.

I remember rainy days better. It's the smell just before it rains.. that sort of wetted dust smell.
If it rains for days I lament the absence of sunshine!

i like rainy days... cold, rainy days. for some reason, i've always loved the bleak grayness of november rain. i've never been able to figure out exactly why. i just feel more comfortable when it's cold and damp outside. maybe it's that ancient saxon blood in me...

when i dont have to go to work, and just wanna be indoors, rainy day. good for sleepin. workin or partying, sunny day. but its sunny 80% of the time here, so sunny it is
