Do we as Christians tolerate certain things that is now aceptable in the world becuase we do not want to be labled as "intolerant" labeled
Sin is Sin and the Wages of Sin is death (notwithstanding inflation)
Let us the boldly speak the truth in love.
Take care
The Christians has become so liberated that they don't call sin as sin by conviction, it is referred to as telerance.
We should stand up for what we are convicted of not what society wants us to do and that is to be tolerant towards people who are sinning.
God loves the person but hates the sin.

The Bible is clear on many matters., and Gods principles and standards do not change.
The world (currently under Satan's rule) follows the 'do as you please lifestyle' and call it tolerance.
But you should not be mistaken.
God does not tolerate wickedness.
People that do not follow God according to his will , will be destroyed, it is as simple as that.
He will not lower his standards to make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
He does not listen to their prayers and they are not saved.

Yes, Christians or those who call themselves Christians , do tolerate way too much , it has now become a mixture between the things of God and the world. God is not tolerant at all, why should we be. He expects much more of us, than what we give Him, many are going to be surprised when they get up there and they are not getting a ticket in.
We are to love what God loves and to hate what He hates.

convictions and tolerance are somewhat contradictory to each other.whether you are christian, muslim,or jew it does not matter.convictions are surely more important than tolerance for convictions in case of sins helps us in avoiding them and adopting virtuous deeds. convictions in the field of religion and morality are the realisations achieved by the faithful and the pious to be the beloved of the ALMIGHTY GOD(ALLAH).to give you an example if somebody is not convinced that that stealing is a sin,he will commit the sin and then the society and he himself would tolerate the sin committed.
it is extremely important to recognise certain acts as sins otherwise it becomes difficult to form convictions regarding the evil acts as sins and then they are explained away as tolerance but this does not prevent the unaware sinning man/woman to be punished byGOD(ALLAH)

Yes I think you're right, in a sense. Christianity in principle is completely amoral. It's all about following orders regardless of what your conscience tells you, and about doing whatever is necessary to avoid hell and get to heaven. The Christians who allow themselves to have morals, by judging right and wrong according to their conscience (which is the true definition of morality), are not really being 'true Christians'.
You really need to become an atheist to be a truly moral person.

In your eyes, I'm sinning.
In my eyes, I'm walking the path the divine has helped me mold.
In the divines' eyes...we are all human beings with multiple and damn near infinite points of views. The divine (if we let it) knows us inside and out.
Look, if you want to be intolerant to other people because of a small difference in belief that doesn't coincide with yours, the so be it. Your INTOLERANCE makes me TOLERANT...so actually...I thank you. I thank you for your misunderstandings. I thank you for your short comings. I thank you for ignorance, and most of all, I thank you for reminding me one of the main reasons I left Christianity.
Have a GREAT night and may the God, Goddess, and Spirits of the Earth walk with you and help you see clearly rather than cloudy like you are now.

Keep your religious rules to yourself. If a religion can't get people to voluntarily join and/or follow its rules, no one has a right to impose them by law. You don't like modern life? Go live in a cave. You want to be a bigot? Expect to be told that you're an ignorant jerk.

God doesn't love anyone.
God doesn't even know you're there.
And God certainly doesn't care.
Just so long as you keep kowtowing you'll get your reward... and when he awakens from his slumber in R'lyeh... you will be right up there at the front on his "to eat" list....
Then it won't matter what or whom you tolerate...

Your convictions are based on religious beliefs you hold on faith. As such you have the right to live your own life with conviction according to your beliefs but not to impose them on others who don't share your particular beliefs or faith.
