People coming out of a relationship sometimes are testing the waters for acceptance. My guess is this person isn't ready to go on yet. Just be patient, or move on if you can't keep yourself from pushing towards an ultimatum.

From what you say about her I would say that she doesn't really care about anyone but herself.Drop her,and find someone who really cares for you.
She is just useing you either to make her old boyfriend jealous,Or to get what ever she gets from you.
She gives you false intensions as you call them,because she is false herself.
I do believe that I have answered your question already.
And I am a woman myself.And I still remember the games that I played.And I have tought my daughters not to do what I did.Why? because it was wrong than,and still is.

Do not start a relationship with someone who is not finished with there last relationship If she can not make up her mind now what makes you think she will when you start dateing her How do you know she will not see her ex behind your back Do you you really want to date someone who plays mind games

My husband dated a girl like that before we met. He had to drop her. He said the baggage was just more than he was willing to handle. You need to let her go and let her chase her ex and get him out of her system before pursueing her anymore. She will string you along if you let her. Move on to a more mature and better adjusted girl that really wants to be with you and you alone.

Because she is a girl. all girls are sluts, it just takes more time for some girls to realize and start acting like it. If I were you, I would forget the girl giving you false intention becuase you should give "intentions to other girls you lke. Trust me, ders plenty of fish in da sea.

She is using you as an option in case things don't work out with her ex. She is playing games with you, don't put up with that. Leave her immediately. Don't put up with stuff such as, "I love you but i have to work things out before we can continue." She is using you, you should be insulted.
