I mean, honestly people out there. would you be more you, since there dead and are you more them now that they are alive?

Well, I'd probably end up with custody of my youngest brother which would make all my other siblings (there are 6 of us total) really angry so it would suck. No, I wouldn't be more free. I'd be a mom to my own 3 small kids and have to deal with a rebellious teenager at the same time.

Honestly, my parents are dead and it took me many years to undo the conditionning I have received.
Its not because they're gone physically that they are not still controlling you inside your head.

But if you had a good relationship with them, in your place I would be hurt and devastated.

I would still be me, but there would be a huge gap in my life. My parents brought me up to be myself, and I love them for it! I really think yours is an awful question
