I love Army Wives, however my hubby is in Iraq atm and it just relates to my life to much I always cry

I don't like Desperate Housewives, I did enjoy Army Wives though. I must say I've never had that much drama in my life as a Marine wife.

Personally I don't like either ....but if I had to choose I'd say Desperate Housewives. Why? Because they don't try and pass that show off as being anything more than a nighttime soap opera while the people who do Army Wives try to act like they are doing us military wives some great favor by supposedly showing what our lives are like (what a joke!)

Despearate Houseives over Army Wives ANY day of the week.
Don't get me wrong, I liked Army Wives....well, eh. I mean, yeah okay the bitchy know-it-all "i'm better than you" officer wives vs. REAL down to earth enlisted wives, "troubled" teens, unruly gossip, and deployment issues were touched...but c'mon lets face it - the script writiers, actors and actresses have no idea what it's like being a military child *born and raised*, wife or husband. I doubt they even used any TRUE insight from service members and life-long military families (not the 4 year stint only ones).
That show may come close but, it's off by a long shot.

Actually, I prefer Desperate Army Housewives!

I'm a military wife and I hate it. My husband is going on his second deployment in the next 3 weeks. I don't even want to see commercials of that shows. It just reminds me of one of the worst times in my life. ----Call me Desperate, but that is where I stand. ---------That was one good thing that happened on his last deployment. Desperate Housewives premiered.
Army Wives is just too real. I like to watch TV to escape reality. I'm a Navy wife, so it's not quite reality, but close enough.

I liked my Navy wife when we were married.
Desperate Housewives are just fake pop icons. Military wives are everything.

didn't you ask this question twice? lol. army wives. i'm a Marine Corps wife. but i still like that one instead of the fake boobied chicks on wisteria lane.
