Sorry to the people who suggested purina and science diet. Don't feed your dog any of the two, they are both crap.
To get the best dog food for your pet, follow these steps
1. Make a mental list on what brands are available in the vicinity (this is to determine how far you are willing to travel to get a certain brand and the availability of the brands)
2. Go to www.dogfoodanalysis.com and check their reviews. They tell you how they determine which brands are good and why. They have a scale of 1 to 6 stars with 1 being the poorest.
3. Select the brand you want and that is available near you.
In my place, the only ones available that are any good are CANIDAE and SOLID GOLD. I use both by alternating every month. Just make sure that you know if your dog is allergic to certain ingredients.

If you are worried about it, go with Eagle Brand. You get it at pet stores. I think it is the best. Its expensive, but if you want the best, there is no other option is there? I wouldn't give it milk, that can make it really sick. You could supplement with powdered formula mix. You can get it at a pet store, you just follow the instructions for supplement on the package. For the food, start with a puppy type and work your way up until the dog needs the big dog type. You might want to get a formula for fast growth, because mastiffs grow fast. Hope this helps a bit.

Stick with water, milk will cause diarrhea.
Skip the puppy foods, especially with a large breed dog. Instead go for an all stages food. Canidae makes a great one.
This food can be fed for the life of your pet.
I say stay away from puppy foods because they cause rapid growth. Rapid growth leads to future bone and joint problems.
An all stages food such as Canidae, promotes a slower, healthier growth patern, and intern helps prevent bone and joint problems later.
Good luck with your pup.

You will get as many different answers as you get answers. Everyone has their own ideas about the best food. Personally, I feed raw because I don't like giving my dogs 100% processed food! Definitely not milk though - milk is a food not a drink and many dogs cannot tolerate it as they get older. Most important thing is not to allow your puppy to get fat - the extra weight on a young frame can damage her bones and joints.
Did your breeder not advise you what to feed?

I agree with Vingruen. Go to the link that was posted and rate your foods. 6 being the highest.
Hills Science Diet is pure crap as well as ANY brand you can buy in the grocery store. They are full of fillers, by-products, dyes, etc.
I feed mine Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul. Good ingredients and I like the affordability and availability of it in my area.
NO milk please.

Try Science Diet puppy style. Don't believe me? Ask your vet... Maybe any popular brand that has a puppy formula might work too.
