I was just reading through the website "the religion of peace" when I found the claim that there has been 9642 terror attacks since 911. Ever since I was a little kid, Ive heard about Islamic terror, but this post 911 number seemed high. However, the website went on to document them all.

So how do you rationalize this as just an insignificant minority, no different than any other religious extremist. If it was true that other religions also had these type of "extremists", there wouldnt be a safe spot on earth. Our lives would be a constant buzz of terror bombs.

People forget that nearly all of those attacks were directed at other Muslims. The war on Terror is Islam's War against itself. The Christians did the same thing for a far longer period before Secular Authorities grew powerful enough to stop them and the Jews lovingly recorded the destruction of entire nations down to the last man, woman, child and farm animal before the Babylonians finally stopped them.

The religions of the Book are the natural enemies of Civilization. They hate anyone and any order not their own. But, History shows that they can be tamed and Civilization is still winning everywhere but the Mideast and the US.

Becasue Barack Obama is a traitor. Armchair....First, the law mimics the Federal Law. Second, the judge struck down a couple of words in the AZ law and left the rest to go on. Funny, the parts that the judge did not like made it less restrictive. Florida's attorney general is pushing Florida to copy AZ's law to the letter, minus the words that the judge did not like, and it will only serve to give the bill more teeth. I am hoping that Governor Brewer just tells Obama the following. I have suggested it. "President Obama, while the state of AZ appreciates your input in the matter of AZ 1070, the reality is that the Constitution clearly states that those powers not specifically given to the federal government is reserved for the states. Considering that the federal government TOOK that authority from the states without Constitutional amendment, it is clear that you have no authority in the matter. I would like to point out that if you would like to come have a conversation about this face to face, please make an appointment at least 2 weeks in advance and I would also suggest that you bring proof of legal status, because if you cannot provide evidence that you are legally in this country, I WILL have you arrested and deported." JBF...you are not the only one who has noticed that illegal immigration is only a problem in the even years. Considering that it is ABSOLUTELY FALSE, you might have been the only one to IMAGINE it. Will...what a load of BS. The reason for the AZ law was that the state and local authorities did not have JURISDICTION to enforce federal law. The AZ law gave them the SAME law at a state level so that they could enforce it legally. BTW, a law in 1986 made sanctuary cities illegal. Where is the federal outrage over those?

I find many atheists claiming that religion is the cause of all the problems, that certainly doesn't help. Most religions are peaceful .Islamicists have been on the attack for hundreds of years and will not settle for second place.Certainly the Brits would know from their experience in India. It appears that they have short memories. Why would they allow them(islamicists) to immigrate?

The number of 9642 is perhaps correct or less but you said Islamic terror attacks, it should be terror attacks. Because terrorist even though claim to be muslims but they are not muslim according to teaching of Islam. To kill one person is like killing whole humanity. They killed Iraqi Muslims, Palestinian Muslims, Pakistani Muslims.

These so called Muslim are defined as Khawarij as per teaching of Islam. Prophet has ordered to fight with such people and to kill them wherever found. Hadith tells that these people will read Quran but it will not go under their throats (meaning it will not effect them unless negative one).

Correct your thought and words and be a good moral citizen.

islam is the religion of peace, but there are verses in the quran which were revealed during the course of war in order to fight off the war mongering disbelievers for the purpose of self-defence,hence it has also allowed the use of force in order to prevent chaos and corruption(rioting) in the society and to establish a peaceful, just, islamic, society.
some deviant groups have misused the verses of the holy quran in the form of killing innocent people and terror strikes, such people in the sight of islam have actually done fasad(chaos) in the name of jehaad and they are liable to go to hell forever, such people are cursed by ALLAH,but what about those muslims in chechenya, bosnia, and palestine who are facing genocide,if they are retaliating with force what you call is terror strikes then that is justifiable, after all the christian communities in europe did almost nothin to prevent the genocide of the minority bosnian muslims in yugoslavia and in chechneya.
lastly the western media has the habit usually to defame islam in whatever ways possible,so if they have shown an exaggerated figure of islamic terror strikes since 9/11wtc attacks then it should not be shocking.

Truth Seeker

Read that news about Islamic terror again. There were three zeroes in front of 9642. How could miss?

Terror attacks, Yes. Islamic attacks, No.

The fact you are looking at a website like that defines your views about Islam. If you are really seeking the truth, you would go to righteous Islamic websites and ask them about these attacks and how Islam views it.

When I wanted to learn about Christianity, I went to Churches and Christian groups. I didn't go to anti Christians and seek my knowledge there.

I find it really amusing that Islam is being blamed for these attacks, even though ALL Islamic governments and scholars are chasing these terrorists and prosecute them.

Here in Saudi Arabia, terrorism is prosecuted to the extent that it violates personal rights.

What else do you want us to do for you to believe that we don't support these attacks??

LoOoOoOoL I just noticed your ID is "Truth Seeker". If you really seek the truth, go to righteous websites and groups, like I did when I went to Churches and Christian Groups seeking truth about Christianity.

Most attacks are not in the western world, so your media doesn't care about them.

It's barely news when a natural disaster kills *hundreds* of people in some far away country.
