Yo. So Ive been having some really vivid dreams lately, which I think is great because Im pretty facinated by the work of Freud and the Surrealist art movement, so Im thrilled, and Id also like to learn a bit about what they mean, what part of my personality (if any) they reflect and the like.

The first dream Ive been having since I was about 8 years old is where I walk into this giant glass building. Inside it's really bright, and everything is made of glass or is white, except for a few plants (ferns) on the sides of the rooms. I walk around until I find a chair made out of glass in the middle of the room. I sit down on the chair (it looks like a throne) and that's when I wake up.

Ill post the other dream next.

So in the other dream, Im walking around this city at dusk. The city looks a lot like Victorian times in London. Im walking around with this girl who is dressed like a goth, and she has really long fingernails and sharp teeth. She kind of looks like a Vampire, but Im not sure if she is. She tells me that I need to murder somone at random in the city or she will kill me. But if I kill someone, then she will love me or something like that.

Anyway, I never actually kill anyone (I wake up before I find anyone to kill), but it's not a scary dream. In fact, Im pretty sure that in the dream, I feel like I love this girl but she doesnt love me back. I usually wake up disapointed that I havent killed anyone.

So, yeah. Any idea what they mean? Im not so much thinking that they're premonitions, but Im interested to know any interpretations, especially along the lines of Freuds work.

Cheers.

Yeah, maahes007. I was thinking about writing a script for it, but ferns are really that scary. Usually anyway. Im sure somewhere in the world there is a scary fern. Maybe it drops it's leaves on the floor all the time and makes a big mess which can never be cleaned up? But for the most part, ferns arent really scary enough.

I'm sure Carolyn will give you a good price.

The dream about the glass seems to be one of knowledge. You want to know or see everything you can about everything. You want to make sure there is nothing hidden in anything. Sitting in a throne like chair, may lead you to think the are are meant for better things.
The dream about the vampire seems like a very similar situation I was in. No I wasn't dating a vampire, though I wonder sometimes ^_^. Seriously... Your 'love' wants you to prove yourself to her, and you would do just about anything to do that. You know deep down, if you do everything she want, she will still not love you. That is why she asks the impossible from you.

Hello there,

I'll try and interpret them for you (it's a hobby of mine) but this is only my opinion.

You are a very visual person but one who likes things clear and concise. You also like to be in control (the seat in the middle) with a clear view of all around you. I think that, in surreal terms, you wake at exactly the right moment ... in control and ready to face the day's challenges.

Your 2nd dream is also interesting. You describe what could be Victorian London ... a bleak place during bleak days. The woman you describe is almost certainly a vampire but not of the kind seen at the movies. She is encouraging you to do something which will make her love you for all time. In short, she is bleeding you dry of your very essence. Love never makes demands so she is not worthy of your affections which is why, in my opinion, you wake when you do.

As well as dream interpretations I also do Rune castings and readings. If you're interested feel free to e-mail me at carolyn.mckay@consultant.com ... happy to offer my views. Sleep tight.
