its all green and has a red beak some blue on the tail it is about 15 to 18 inches from head to tail sorry no pictures?

Sounds like an Indian Ringneck because of the red beak but without pictures it's just about impossible to tell.

Ya know some people come on here and bash others for not know what kind of bird they have, and mention bird species that don't even exist, and i find that pretty funny myself, LOL!!!

What is a Rose Ringneck anyways??? Anyone know?? Please enlighten me, lol.

To answer this question, I assume what you are describing is an Indian Ringneck Parakeet. Do a search on that species and you'll find it there. I don't do your work for ya. Depending on the age, females do NOT get a black ring around the neck after the age of 1 yr! So the females have a mauve ring and males have a mauve and black ring around their neck, hence the name Indian Ringneck Parakeet, and yes they are from the parakeet family.

I'm kind of curious as to how you ended up with a parrot that you had no idea the species of. Care to enlighten?

could be alot of different birds, had to say with out a picture, if you found it i would put pictures up as someone might have lost him, and be missing him!
