the wall along the Mexican border? And do you think we should spend the money on building the wall all along the border?

I realize illegals will always find a way in, but wouldn't this slow them down significantly?

The wall is necessary, without the wall we might as well stop elections and turn our government over to Mexico. The Wall will not stop 100% of illegal border crossing, but it should manage to tie a turnicat on the massive hemorrhage that is our border currently.

Once we stem the flow, then and only then can we really focus on those who are already here. But sending them back before the fence is built is about as productive as filling up a bucket with a whole in it. Sure you can puts stuff in it but it just is going to come back out.

Once the border is secure we can see who is really actually helping our society and who is just a burden. We could actually discuss a guest worker program.

But until that wall is built all bets are off. And anyone in government who stops that wall from being built is in for a world of hurt when it comes for the elections.

What for...to wall them in? No, use the funds to deport them all right now. Hey, if we cut all benefits illegals are receiving we could afford a whole lot more than a wall, deportation, and beefed up border securtiy...yea, lets cut benefits off and get to that deporting part. The laws tell them they aren't welcome to come here the way they are and they could care less so I doubt the wall will give them a clue either, they've already created tunnels beneath...miles of them.

Yes, and yes. It isn't the entire answer but it is a necessary part of the answer, particularly given our government's record with enforcement.
