So a bronze age myth says a man is going to come down out of the sky, based on 'crystal clear' prophecy in a book that was compiled more that 300 years after jesus died, written by men with terrible education by our standards....

This 'god inspired' book also says bats are birds, teaches how to deal with your slaves, tells women to be quiet in church and save their questions for their husbands.

I hang my head in shame for america that so many still base their lives on this.

People have been saying the second coming is about to take place for the past 2000 years....even as early as the new testament, the believers thought they were living in the end times. Me personally, I'm glad I've never tried to make an appointment with Jesus, because I get the feeling he's not very good at that punctuality thing.

The second coming of Jesus is to take place when all the world has heard the Word and all the hardships of the world have been felt. Luke 21: 21-32

Who is this "everyone"? Where I work, I see literally 100's of thousands of people each year and I've never had even one of them say this to me.
A lot of people don't believe in Satan or the "Christian" God for that matter, so I'm sure they aren't the ones saying it.
It certainly makes me wonder where you live, that "everyone" is agreeing on this, especially since we can't seem to find more than two people that can agree on anything.

Coming from someone who is not Christian, what I see are dissillusioned people who are fed up or frightened by the direction the world is heading. Instead of standing up themselves and changing things, They pray to "God" and blame "Satan" In every religion, including Christianity, the one true gift of human souls is free will. I say stop whining and use it!!

It is getting very nplain today more tan any other time in history that we are in the end times now !!!

If you track Israel's history and remember that God KEEPS His promises you will know we are there !!! Israel is the apple of God's eye and if satan can keep God from fulfilling any promises satan makes God a liar and therefore satan would deserve to be worshipped !!! Sounds pretty radical doesn't it !!! Its biblical history !!!

According to the Bible, no explanation is needed. And I would remind you that the apostal Paul also thought that Jesus second coming was imminent.

The book of Revalations is coming true. Such as Israel becoming an independant nation, Revalations said that would be a sign pointing to the end of the world. Read it for yourself to find out other things in Revalations that have come true.

According to the Christian fundies, the "second coming" was about to take place "any day now" when I was in high school in 1972 based on all the "signs of the times". Yeah, right.

I didn't know that everyone did say that Jesus' second coming was about to take place. I know that I have never said that. Perhaps you know something about what I have said that I don't. But, I wouldn't presume to claim to know what everyone has said.
