there shouldnt be fat in carbs. you add fat to carbs by frying potatoes, adding butter etc.

1 gram of fat has 9 calories. 1 gram of carbohydrate has 4 calories. So 1 gram of fat has 2 1/4 times the calories of 1 gram of carbohydrate.

Huh? Fat and carbohydrates are two totally different things. You either have 1 gram of fat or 1 gram of carbohydrates.

1 gram of carbohydrate is 4 calories
They are different materials although through metabolism one can be changed to the other.
