If god did show up in front of you, would you get on your knees and stuff.

I'm curious... And no, I myself would not.

You will.

You'll do a lot more than that too.

You will be facing the Almighty God.

These are just words on a screen; some might even think that they're not real.

God is real.

When you face him will you still be holding on to your sin, or will you have repented and believed unto eternal life?

Well, he would have to prove he is god in the first place, i am not kneeling before the first asshole who screams "i am god".

Btw i am not convinced by petty tricks like water walking, or resuscitating fresh corpses(it must at least be very rotten and showing the bone).
As someone said "Very high technology is indistinguishable from magic" therefore the proof better be good.

If god wanted me to go down for him, and he had sufficient force to make me, or offered me a big enough reward, sure.

If he just showed up and said "hey, I'm god", then no. I would have no reason to believe he was worthy or wanting of adoration. If there is some kind of god out there, certainly it isn't the petty narcissistic tyrant so many people pray to.

Nope. I'd have some really hard questions about his screwups, letting people promote bigotry and commit atrocities in his name - man, he'd get a good chewing out for goofing off!

Nope... he's a hideous monster, that man, if the bible is to be believed. I could never worship a being who destroyed all of this creations, save one family who built a boat and then said, "Oh, I'm sorry... I promise never to do it again."

My 7yo son says that all the time.

If god got visited me he would almost certainly bear no resemblance to the christian god so none of us would even recognize him.

God would probably be asking us "Why arent u having sex and reproducing to help nature on its path",,, uhh id respond, "this fairy tale religion called christianity is the opposite of the nature u created how stupid is that!"

If it was clear that she was God and she wanted me on my knees, I would. But, where do we get this idea that our imaginary God wants us on our knees? Maybe God would want to treat me like a prince and make love to me. Who knows. It's all imaginary. Why imagine ourselves groveling on our knees.

How would I know it was God and not just an hallucination? Frankly, the latter would be more likely!
