and the facility you are in
ie: rural/ small metro/ large metro

Just look up some "case histories" on the web concerning "Plea bargained guilty pleas" you will find the Constitution has been flushed down the toilet! The loss of rights is staggering! The defendant is lied to in order to get the higher charges plead guilty to, the Public Defenders confer with the District Attorney and do his bidding in order to win Court approval, these Public Defenders must prove themselves "workable" to suit the needs of the Judges so that cases "move smoothly" (another words wins for the campaign records of District Attorneys and Judges)So the poor Defendant is fed a lie that he will receive a shorter sentence if he will plead to the higher charge, so he does, he's too uneducated to ask to READ the plea bargain and he lamely TRUSTS that it holds a promiss of lesser sentence for his plea, he TRUSTS his Public Defender is out to help him----he is locked into the plea agreement once he signs and pleads guilty in court, he has been told to "answer yes and guilty and he can be sure it will result in his best interest" surprise--the Judge gives him the maximum sentence and when the time comes he appeals but the Court then says "you were canvassed of all the facts at your plea hearing and didn't you sign this plea bargain?" End of story you rot in prison and the game goes on. American injustice for all but the rich who can afford private representation!! At least a jury trial provides A CHANCE! Banish Plea Bargains and keep at least that much treachery out of the lawyers hands!

I really don't know what you're looking for here. Can you possibly rephrase the question? You can expect better answers that way.
