This is making me gain weight and not sleep well. My husband does this and I just joined him without thinking. We have been married for 1 year, and I don't want to get fat, but I am on my way! This is what we do at night, and I don't like it. What shouldI do?

You should stop. It might be hard but try brushing your teeth after dinner. This can give you a reminder that I've brushed my teeth and shouldn't eat/drink. Grab a glass of water if you need something

First ask yourself are you eating because your hungry, bored, or because you husband is eating. Don't eat anything high in carbs within 4 hours prior to sleeping, carbs give you energy, that is why you can't sleep. Your body is full of energy when your mind is wanting to rest, your confusing your body. 1 glass of wine, is ok, provided it is red (antioxidants), if you want 2 glasses then add sparkling water to it and pour 1/2 as much wine in the glass. If you are eating because you are hungry, try drinking a glass of orange juice with the pulp in it, it will curb the sensation of being hungry.

if you are married, you should be able to talk with each other...just tell him you don't like the habit and then suggest alternatives...

like:
a nice cup of warm tea (usually about 5 calories and the sleepy time type helps put you to sleep)
a small ziplock baggie of popcorn or other dry, not heavy food
aim to finish eating supper 2+ hours before bedtime

It'll take a little practice but with good communication the two of you can work it out (bonus: tea costs less than wine, use the savings to go out for a nice dinner once a month instead!)

nothing wrong with eating before sleep it just depends on what and how much. the wine on the other hand is not so good, especially if it's a daily event. 2-3 glasses of wine a week is much better.

Isn't it obvious? Talk to your husband and tell him you aren't going to join him in a snack and a glass of wine at night.

toddlers appetites tend to variety at this age, so i does no longer be so in contact approximately him no longer ingesting a dinner now and returned. As a separate situation, in case you difficulty approximately him ingesting too lots milk, rather than ingesting good meals, then i might supply him much less milk and be sparkling and relentless related to the situations whilst he could have milk. earlier you alter the trend you will desire to share with him what the hot trend would be.

Do you exercise regularly? If so, step up your workouts and start losing weight.

Eating late at night is NOT bad, unless you are not working out.
