Bear and golden bicephalic eagle. If the asker is a fundie it relates to Revelations. The bear is also the national symbol of Finland.

The eagle is the national symbol of the U.S., Albania, Germany, Mexico, Nigeria and Poland.

the lion is the national symbol of Bulgaria, Denmark, Ethiopia, India, Luxembourg, Netherlands and the U.K.

Well I don't often ask, but I've had a 50% violation record, just for copying a question about God and replacing that name with Zeus. Someone sure doesn't like their beliefs being challenged the way they wish to challenge others! However, it hasn't put me off asking, though I'm mainly an answerer here. I could add: 6. Which passage of the bible proves the correctness of the bible? Have fun in Cosmology, and say "Hi" to the colliding branes and infinite turtles!

The British often drew cartoons of the growing threat of Imperial Russia. They used a bear as the animal in these cartoons as it represented the strength and rather large size of Russia's empire.

Im atheist, amuse us by telling us why u ask of this? Are you trying to prove that atheists are more knowledgable than religious people... theres already statisical evidence to prove this.

Russia was atheist, but not since the begining, i believe that when they started using the bear as a symbol russia was still orthodox christian... so if thats what you were going to say then u are an idiot

The Double headed eagle. It is found on it's coat of arms. It comes from the hittite civilization from the 20th century BC. The bear is the national Animal but it is not the symbol of Russia.
