The software never finished loading. It locked up the computer and I shut it down. Now I try to remove the software in my systems add/remove and it tells me it cannot complete the task. Any idea how to remove it?

Sorry, forgot to tell you that it was a COPY of a video game someone gave us. We no longer have the disc to try install again. I try add/remove and it doesn't do anything to the software. It ignores the command to remove.

Try to install it again, THEN uninstall it, although the files are on the system it didn't finish registering itself in the registry, so can't "uninstall" cleanly.

Try finding it on the list in Control Panel >Add or Remove Programs (or programs and features if you're using Vista) removing it that way.
