How do I make someone approach me?

I'm 18, I'm slim and I'm nicer than most girls these days. I don't go out for the bad boys type, I don't go to clubs or bars or whatever. People outside compliment me saying I look pretty, gorgeous and they even compliment my outfits too. Yet... no one ever asks me out? So is there any tips and tricks on how to lure someone? I know I can do that seductive thingie but I'm too scared he might be taken or not like me. Is there any way or location or whatever that you can suggest that they would be comfortable to approach me?

PS - I live in NYC and I'm 18... And I'm not stuck up or conceited, I'm asking a question because I need help... not to brag...

Location does not matter too much....as long as the guy can get you alone for a minute or two. So, for example, if you hide in a pack of girls..most guys won't approch you.

Chances are you don't act single and always act busy. You never stop and look around and just zip from place to place. You don't give guys much a chance to notice you, let alone ask you out. And on top of that your not looking around at them, so that sends the 'taken' and/or 'not dating' sign.

So you want to take it slow. Look around. Smile. And if you see a guy catch his eye. And don't forget to drees up good and smell nice.

well, it depends where u want to be approached. some guys may not approach you because ua re so beautiful and they are intimidated. but ur best bet is to always smile, make eyeconact with strangers. if u seem easy to talk to, they will talk to you. u just need to seem like a happy or fun person you know? and u dont always hafta wait for people to come up to you. say ur waiting for the city bus, u can say, oh my gosh when will the bus get here?? in a playful voice, it can get things started. dont hold back on starting conversation
