As a christian I've done lots of research... I would love to hear when you think the end of the world will be with scriptural back up and examples that have come to pass... Everyone is more than welcome to answer...

ok... i completely understand why atheists answer the way the answer and I respect that, but for a christian... isn't the book of Revelations important? I understand that we can't come down to the exact hour... only Christ knows... but the book of Revelations is there for a purpose...

First of all we can not even come down to the year it will happen much less the day or the hour. Could it happen now? I don't believe so (my oppinion).

WHY? Because unlike most other denomination and Christians who teach the "rapture", the Bible teaches that "the Church" True Christians must first go through a time of TRIBULATION and many followers Will Fall away.

And I know this will boil some blood, but! "Christ" Does NOT know when the world will end. He said Himself that this is known only by the Father.

Christ will return and the world will end "as we know it now" when "The Father" says "IT'S TIME"

That is not what it means. The Scriptures tell you to be ready, know the Times You are living in Romans 8: 28-39 and to Fight the Good Fight of Faith 1st and 2nd Timothy..It Can Happen at any given time in human history. Be in Peace. Jesus gave the Parable of the Fig Tree in Matthew 24 and the Land of Israel becam a Nation again. See the Six Day War and The Balfour Agreement after World War 2.

It means an End to the World System of monetary fraud, government run amok Romans 13, Greed, Racism, Sexism, bigotry, Pedophiles and anything else that is Not Christ like! 2nd Timothy 2: 23, Also meaning social status, sex, race. Leviticus 19:15, Acts 10:34

Isaiah 45:17, Matthew 13:39-41, Matthew 24, (Daniel 11:37-39, Romans 1, 2nd Peter 3 What to look For arThe End of the Church Age) Revelations 13....Revelation 22. I hope this answers your question.

Since you know that we can never know when it will happen, it looks like you just want theories so that is what I will give you.

I don't know the verse but there is a part that says when the fig tree is young (Israel) this generation will see the end. so Isreal is about 60 years old now so one theory is no more than another 40 years.

also if you want to add the Mayan callender mysteriously ends on Dec 21 2012 could this be the end? The bible says the anti-christ will make a 7 year covenant of peace and break that covenant at the 3 1/2 point. so June 21 2009 would be the start of the 7 year covenant and Dec 21 2012 would be the end. This is pure speculation but that is what you asked for so here you go.

The short answer is, over 1007 years from now.

Long Answer:

Important: Going backwards from the End.

The Post Millennium
There will be a time when Satan is released from a place where he was bound for a thousand years. When he comes out, he will convince a certain people to rise up and come against Jesus who is at Jerusalem. No one except God knows how long that will take, and when it will occur.

The Millennium
Which means: 1000 years of Christ ruling on Earth. He comes down and sets His feet upon the Mount of Olives in Israel after He brings the enemies of Israel together to make war against them. He destroys those enemies and sets up the 1000-year earthly Kingdom. Not all Christians believe this, but I do and those who believe like me.

The Great Tribulation
This is a seven-year period when God pours His wrath out on the Earth. It occurs after those that are in the body of Christ (the church), are taken out of the way. Often referred to as the Rapture of the Church, the Jews will have the temple built in Jerusalem, and on the World's stage a man supposedly of Peace will actually make peace in the Middle East for seven years, three and one half years into the deal he will break that promise, and make war. So seven years, the last three and one half years there will be many things happening that will make it seem that the Earth is being destroyed.

The Present Day
We are on the far side of all that I have written. Israel is a nation once again as was prophesied. The church is awaiting the Rapture. The Rapture, as with all the fulfilled "Set Times" or "Feasts" that are observed by the Jews were set by God to show His manipulation of history, in advance.

For instance: Jesus was lain in the tomb as a fulfillment of Passover. The Spirit of God was poured out on men speaking the tongues of all nations on Pentecost. The Rapture of the Church will take place on the Feast of the Trumpets. It might not be this year, but on any year, it will not occur unless it's on the Feast of the Trumpets. This year, the Feast of the Trumpets happens on 13 September, this month. If it does not happen then, it will not happen until one of the later years on the Feast of the Trumpets.

So we have the Rapture, whenever that is to take place, the Great Tribulation of seven years, the millennium for a thousand years, and the time that it takes Satan to convince a people to come again Jesus in Jerusalem, however long that is before the end of the world.

Well as the Bible says no man knows the hour Christ will return, but Jesus himself said when certain things begin to happen, believers will know the time is near. Prophesy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Starting with the beginning of the regathering of Israel in 1948 to today we now have representatives of every single lost tribe of Israel returning to the land from all over the earth . This was prophesied by Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Hosea just to name a few. Also Isreal a tiny democracy in the midst of a sea of hateful Muslim countries is hated without a cause. The enemies of Israel are gathering to make yet another attempt to destroy her. Iran and Russia are teaming up just as prophesied in Ezekiel 38 & 39 to come against Israel in the war of God and Magog. This war must happen before Armageddon and is really the precurser or beginning of the
final war when all nations will come against Israel and be defeated when Christ returns. ( Zechariah 12-14 & Revelation 16-22) Also as jesus said in Matthew 24 there are signs and wonders happening every day. Wars and rumors of wars are in the news everyday, Devastating earthquakes have been increasing in number like never before, Tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes , fires, plagues and famines also increasing. Another sign is the great apostacy found in the modern church. Hard Rock and Roll music replacing Hymns, 15 minute grace only milk toast Power Point presentations replacing meat and potatoes repentence gospel preaching out of the word of God. Immodest dressing, tattoos and piercings, premarital sex tolerated, Health and wealth Gospels, Money hungry mega church Pastors & televangelists who secretly are homosexuals and whoremongers. Ordaining of and approval of homosexuals in the Episcopal church. The divorce rate is worse in the chuch than outside the church. Josh Mcdowell says only a very very few evangelical Christian teens believe in absolute truth. There is no doubt that we are in the last of the last days . Even so come Lord Jesus

The guy right below me is 100% right. Gird up your loins brothers and sisters , the tribulation is coming.

In your books the angel told Daniel that it would be a millenium, a millenium and half a millenium, from the time he goes to his rest. Fact: Daniel died 490 BC by our calender. So work that one out for yourself.
You must also bare in mind that "the world" is relative. It does not say the earth. Most Hebrew usage of the word is in fact area and not world. If you go back to the Hebrew you will find a lot of your bible much more revealing.

To be honest i think its coming now. I'm not saying its coming tomorrow. I just think we all work on it. We have no respect for what we have and we're just going to ruin the whole planet. That's when the end of the World is gonna come. And we all r so cruel 2 each other- thats the end of wold as well. We don't deserve 2 exist

Read the bible code by Michael Drosnin - even for an agnostic like me, it is quite revealing.
It talks about armageddon a lot towards the end.
It will either be in Iran, Irag or Japan - but each time, the bible says it is aborted.
The book is based around a hidden secret code in the original bible "The Torah", Sir Isaac Newton, and many others spent lifetimes searching for it, but it was only possible to crack with a computer.

In the Book of Revelation there is no reference to any superpower that sides with Israel at Armageddon. So the USA must either end or change before that time.

The Muslim plan is to have a Muslim president of the USA by about 2024, so it might be soon after that.
