Warm or hot? Because I'd like to prevent belching. And which soda is the gassiest and least gassiest.

The gassiness of soda is inversely proportional to the relative temperature. Hot soda is least gassy, cold soda is most gassy. CO2 comes out of suspension as the soda warms up.

Avoid drinking it from a can or through a straw. By drinking it that way you suck in more air then you would with a glass. Thus the belching. Chewing gum also causes you to suck in a lot of air.

All you have to do is pour your soft drink into a glass and stir it a bit to release some of the carbonation. The more you stir the less the carbonation.

Why would you heat up a soda? Hot soda will be completely flat without any "bubbles." It'll be just colored sugar water.

more warm would be coca cola and not so much the old 7up.Now they got a lime flaver added and it taste like $hit..so i just drink cola; but cold,

Squirt makes you burp the most, if you're with company,don't drink that.
