why do christians still claim there is one god only, why cant there be others. and because my Church/Preist says so isnt a good answer.

Thou shall not have any OTHER GODS before me.

It's a matter of doctrine allegedly espoused by Jesus, and their interpretation is that they have a monopoly on faith. spirituality and God. So, xtians aren't only monotheists, they've declared the gods and the mythologies of other religions to be false, and even demonic at times, and this includes the God of the Jews and the Muslims. This attitude exists because Xtian ideology, dogma, and catachism all declare that they have a Monopoly on religious Truth.
It is a prejudice that began with the early church, and it can't be amended because an anonymous someone inserted a quote Jesus in the gospels as saying "...no one comes to the Father except by [through] me." Since Jesus is God for most xtians the conversation stops here - even when its pointed out that the quote is just too *&^% useful for xtianity.

Yes. There is only one sovereign God. We are all connected.
Try it one day. My God hears your God because there is only One. Ask a question and don't tell anyone what it is. Don't be surprised who answers. Watch and see how God works...

I personally believe in more than one, but that is only an opinion. Christians don't want to be wrong because their religion condoned the killing of thousands of people for different religious beliefs. If they are wrong, then all that blood shed was for nothing.

Christians believe that their god is the only god.. i dont really believe it, but its what they think.
I belive there could be other gods, but our society is so based of the the christians teachings, its hard to get a opinion from someone who is christian themselves

Yes and No.
What we commonly call angels...they ARE GOD. So who's right here?
Whether the study of intelligences higher than our own could point towards an ultimate deity...it simply DOES NOT MATTER. I believe that the quantum reality is our true state of being. Eg. Buddhists believe in an eternal field where no one ever dies and no one is ever born.

There is one God.
There can't, and will not be no others because all that know God, know God is the Powerful One. He will destroy, and kill any that act like God, whom He is. The one and only.
Revelation 19:4
And the four and twently elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
Catch my drift? God has it that way with all beings and creatures of any kind of power period. Even all the powerful entities, and beings bow down to God.
That is what God means => The Powerful One.
When one were to really take a look at the book of Revelation it paints a good picture depicting how powerful God really is.

In the front of Revelation, here we have John who is a Holy man of God, being in seclusion and having powerful visions of what is to be 2000+ years later, and when reading this gospal I see what he saw like day as he said he saw it.
He records that he spoke and met with God, angels (the angels that carry out God's will for God's will alone!) He saw many great things with many powerful angels who fight, meet, and gather with God, and be with God by his side.
-Like good friends they all are. Friends that will do anything for God if God COMMANDS. Is what God's Holy, powerful, and closest angels are. Friends that will die for the one they love, follow, and obey. God Himself.
Than John goes on to say Revelation 20:12 - And I saw the dead, small, and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
That's God, He has all the power over all that is power, obeyed by all that/who know Him like its the thing to do, and feared by all that know power (satan himself is scared of God), satan just don't admit it.
With John seeing Revelation 20:12, it means that all people who were anybody, everybody, who THOUGHT they were someone powerful here on earth, even the dead, and also lets not the forget the ones that saw Him coming and prepared for His return standing there waiting to be judged by the powerful one. Of course God will show each and every person how powerful He really is to tell/show them they are forgiven or they have no mercy.
God's closest angels are the ones that believe in God the most. They would do anything for Him without no questions asked. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS.
FaithMarie is the same way to.......I will do anything for Him. As a dreamer, God has given me dreams to do the work that I will do for Him. With knowing, understanding, and being a dreamer all my life is the greatest thing God ever gave to me because no matter if I live or die today, tomorrow, or whenever I can assure that I can find my way around the spirit world well of course with God by my side and taking care of business like that because what happens in the spirit world, it will only be a matter of time before it happens here on earth. That is the greatest truth I have learned from being a dreamer since a young child. With God, I have the spirit world in the palm of my hands.
*That is the kind of power God desires for all His people, creatures, and fellowship. To hold the spirit world in your hands, not the physical world we live in in this body.
No matter if spirits in the spirit world are good or bad, they all know God is God and is the powerful one. That is the one thing that the physical life has that the spirit world don't. Is that by deception people here on earth have a "free will" as many people call it. The deception is that free will does not exist because once people leave this earth in the form of physical death they enter the spirit world. Once in the spirit world there is no more disobeying, denying, and turning away from God. God will show thee who the Powerful One is. That is what the spirit world doesn't have, FREE WILL.
That is the reason to learning discipline to all one knows how to do because that is what is needed in the spirit world. Discipline in obeying, and praising Him because being respectful, humble, and loyal to God. That is what God loves.
That is God the Powerful One. THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. If one don't love Him, He makes the choice whether or not one is forgiven, or has mercy.
