No, the Pell Grant program ends when a person receives their first Bachelors degree at graduation. The only things remaining are the student loan program and scholarships. The number of scholarships is smaller once you are working on the masters degree level. Another idea is to become a graduate or research assistant at your college because there is some help there with the tuition and stipend (the amount varies from school to school). I will include some free scholarship search engines and resources. Good luck!

First of all you cannot get a Pell grant once you have received your first Bachelor's degree so you cannot get it for a Master's program.

As far as financial aid there are several options available to you. This can include loans and grants depending on your school. Go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov .

Another thing to consider is going straight into a unviersity Master's program. It will expand your financial aid options and allow you to take advantage of assistantships and internships that might be available. Another possibility is to work with a university that offers online classes as part of an on-campus program. A good place to check this out is http://www.gradschools.com . If you happen to be in MN you can also check out http://www.mnscu.edu or you can look at http://www.mnonline.org/

Good Luck!

Pell grants are normally for people pursuing bachelor's degrees but sometimes are granted to people in certain subjects (studying to be math and science teachers, for example, because there is such a shortage). Many people getting their master's degrees are eligible for federal Stafford loans, which are either subsidized (no interest until you're done with your degree) or unsubsidized (begin accruing interest as soon as you take them out). I don't know about online universities, though; they probably have a financial aid person (or email address) that can answer those questions.

Pell Grant For Graduate School

You are probably screwed. If you can find a way to live with someone at college instead of living in the costly dorms! Your parents obviously did not think of you when they decided to move out of the state. You could apply for some private loans that will jack you but if its all you can get. If you are really hard up you could check with the Army reserve I know tons of people that have the reserve pay for school. Unfortunetly the Fin Aid office will probably not be very helpful or have any solutions for you. You also need to get a job NOW to try and pay for the semester thats coming up screw the dorm.
