i have a slideshot with pix and movies with music cant get it on disk do i need a dvd burner insted of reg?

i made it with windows movie makers,i burn cds all the time its saying i dont have a recordable drive do what does this mean

You obviously have a CD burner but not a DVD burner. They cost about $50 and you can install it yourself. You will have a combo drive that does both. Good luck.

CD's are sound and data.
DVD's are video.
