I am to repair our Novell 5.11 and it seems I will be needing a DOS4.0. Also,What is operating system requirements for Novell5.11?

You can't legally copy, or download ms-dos. You can do it, but not LEGALLY. You have to purchase a licensed copy of ms-dos, because it is still the property of Microsoft. There are free versions of dos called dr-dos and freedos, that can be obtained from the links I will provide. dr-dos generally includes novell netware, so long as you don't download the lite versions. Ebay is a good place to find licensed copies of ms-dos.

DOS 4.0 is at least a decade old. Your software is wildly out of date. You will have to get it from someone who keeps old software. I have a copy on a 5.25" disk, but don't have a drive to read it to know it is any good.

i thought all you need is dos 6.0???
