Not really.

Heresy is the obstinate denial after Baptism of a truth which must be believed with divine and Catholic faith. Therefore only someone who is (or was) a Catholic can be a heretic.

About Non-Catholic Christian Churches, the Catholic Church teaches:

Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.

Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.

All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.

With love in Christ.

You are asking for a blanket judgement call on a whole group of people. You need to take people one at a time. One fundamentalist might proclaim a legitimate heresy, in which case, he/she would be a heretic.

There are sure to be fundamentalists who are not so militant in their approach towards other denominations. These types are less apt to proclaim heresy.

Until I hear or see , with my own ears or eyes, a person proclaim a heresy, they are not a heretic as far as I am concerned.

Blah blah blah. Who is anyone else to decide whether or not I am a Christian? Jesus Christ is my Saviour. He atoned for my sins. Salvation comes only through Christ. I strive to follow Him and live His teachings to the best of my abilities and knowledge. I do not believe any particular sect or denomination are "the true saved ones." We have all been redeemed by Jesus Christ. EDIT: I said nothing about which religions have more truth than others socko. I simply said that anyone could be considered the "true saved ones" as Jesus died for all, not just those of a certain denomination. And we DON'T believe that Jesus came about as the result of physical relations between God and Mary. That is a misquoted, taken out of context OPINION, not doctrine. We don't have our own version of the bible. We read the KJV.

Pretty much. But they can be heretical as much as they want away from my church. God watches everyone, including me. We can only do the best we can with what we've got, and if they grew up that way, and I grew up another, who's fault is that?

I really have no opinion.

To disrespect another faith is uncalled for, and I would not promote or debase any religion. Thank you.
