How much do I need to make during the year, in order to recieve the Earned Income Credit?

I am single, 1 child. I have a parttime job.. that I have recently started in the past couple months. What is the minimum that needs to be earned in order to recieve EIC??

As long as you have ANY earned income, and you meet all the qualifications including that your total isn't over the limit, you can get something for EIC. The amount you'll get varies though depending on the amount of your earned income. If for example your earned income was $1000 for the year, your EIC would be $348; if your earned income was $10,000 your EIC would be $2747.
