It is true that people CLAIM it causes autism. They do not know yet what causes autism.

Ask your friend to look back at any videos or pictures of his son. My son is autistic too. There were subtle warning signs. He started to regress and developed peripheral vision( looks sideways). He also had a great deal of colic, constipation, and abdominal pain. Did he start to line-up his toys or objects? My son took a newspaper apart and lined up the paper. We thought it was cute. It is a sign of autism.
It might have been a coincidence that the MMR shot was given and the autism developed. Get him tested for heavy metal exposure through urinary prophyrin testing. The metals are only detected for 2 months in the blood so a blood test may not find it in time. The urinary prophrin test will check for compounds that indicate the presence of mecury, etc.
This is how I discovered that my son had mercury, he is only 5 and was fully vaccinated. The mercury had to come from somewhere. I believe that the public has been mislead about the effects of chelation and autism and so does the Senate.
In a recent report a few days ago, The Senate found the FDA and CDC guilty of misleading the public.
Much of the studies are conducted with money from the pharmaceutical companies. They are the ones trying to make the money. So many drugs are being pulled off the market after they have been approved. They have a huge financial stake if vaccinations, antibiotics, or thimersol are found to increase the incidence of autism.
It is true that a small number of kids develop autism as a result of an allergic reaction ( seizures) to the vaccines. Vaccines reactions do occur and can cause death. This is why the vaccine injury fund was set up.
Make sure the child gets early intervention for the autism. This clearly helps start the child on the road to recovery. Recovery, meaning to be able to communicate his needs., not saying "cured". Good luck. Autism is treatable.

It has not been proven either way!!!! Although I don't think that it is just one shot or just the shots in general. I do think that the vaccines play a part in autism and other disorders! Along with the environment! Now the person that said that if it were the vaccines kids would be getting autism 20 or 30 years ago the same as today! That is just simply not true! Look at how many shots were given 20 or 30 years ago and how many are given now. We have a booster for everything now! Instead of finding out why our children are not immune they are just giving boosters! Some kids may be immune and still get the booster???? Take a look at what is in these shots and tell me it is not causing harm. When I was a child I got alot less shots then kids do today!Look it up!
"There is NO PROOF that it is caused by the vaccinations... Not many studies… but currently there is no proof…
BUT, there is tons of proof showing that there is 100%, absolutely, unequivocally NO WAY IN HELL that chelation (The removal of heavy metals through a chemical medical extraction process) "Cures" autism."
Now This statement is interesting! No proof, but not many studies says it all right!!! No independant researchers are allowed to get access to the information so they can do studies! The studies that have been done have been done by Researchers payed by the drug company's to show that there product is safe!! The only way we are truly going find out the truth is if we let independant researchers do the studies that have no motive (in others words no money involved)!
The other part of the statement is interesting too! Show me that 100% proof Clelation does not work!!!! I think there are alot of parents that would differ with you on that! I do think however that parents need to be under a doctors supervision and pick the right doctor!!!!
In conclusion parents need to research the information and make the right decision for thier child, whether you vaccinate or don't vaccinate! No choice is wrong as long as you are fully informed!!!!! No one is ever going to fully agree on this issue until we see the studies that prove it either way! With no money involved!!!!!!!!

I am not 100% convinced that it is just the MMR that is the problem. There have been people who have said it was after the MMR that thier child went down hill. However they give the child many different vaccines along with the MMR. So I personally think, through alot of research that it is all those vaccines out together. Hannah(The girl that has Autism from the vaccines she received) got 7 different vaccines at one time. The government conceded that it was cause from the combination all the vaccines. MMR is three vaccines put together so yes I think it could be linked along with all the other one's. Mercury is out of most vaccines, but what did they use to replace it? Another stabilizer of course. Age: 36 Gender: Female Current Location: Michigan/ USA Ethnicity: White

They aren't sure what causes Autism a lot of people think that it's one of the vaccines but if that were the case than Autism should have been a lot more prevalent than it was 20 to 30 years ago when the vaccines were first introduced in the 50'sand 60's before they were refined. Autism is not a new disorder but they are finding more cases of it. Now why is that?? I personally think that is has something to do with a lot of the chemicals that are in the environment that weren't there 20 to 30 years ago. To me that would explain why there are so many cases now than there were than even when the vaccines were new. There are a lot of things that have been added to food that wasn't there 20 to 30 years ago or longer, there is a lot more air pollution than there was than and water pollution and chemicals in the food and other things that we apply to our bodies that we don't even think about how they may affect the body or our reproductive organs. Men who smoke have smaller and less viable sperm than those who don't. 30 to 40 years ago everyone thought that asbestos was a great material it would insulate almost every thing and help with the cost of heating and other things. Now we know that asbestos is a killer, give us ten years and I'm pretty sure that we'll find out that autism is from something in the enviorment. Something that we didn't realize was dangerous.

No. So far there is no repeatedly demonstrated research to support this theory. So far there is only coincidental evidence which may mean nothing at all.
Vaccines are the greatest triumph over disease we have managed. Smallpox and Polio being the primary examples to date. The number of kids who exibit autism out of the total number who get the MMR vaccine is very very small. Even if the vaccine is the trigger in these kids, there is something genetically different about them too or more kids would be exibiting autism after MMR vaccination.
Autism is devastating for these parents, and they want to know why they have been cursed in this way. Having something to blame eases the pain. It is also better if that something is external to their gene pool for example.
It is sad for your friend I know, however it is too early to blame the MMR vaccine.

it is a widely accepted suspicion. many doctors claim that they have proved the link between certain vaccines and autism developing in young children. it is true that the rate of children being diagnosed with autism is increasing. here are links to the CDC website on the issue and to an autism website with resources for the issue.

Autism claims against childhood immunizations are primarily based on the fact that they both happen at about the same time in a child's life. There has never been any valid evidence to support the link between autism and immunizations. People want to believe that things happen for a discernible reason, but there is so much that we don't know; so the myth persists.

Vaccines do cause autism's in a growing subset of kids.
A poster above writes that chelation therapy can't cure autism. They may be or may not be correct. Chelation can however remove mercury and aluminum and other toxic heavy metals that have been injected into children via vaccines. Many believe the epidemic occurring is due to toxic overload of immature immune systems due to too many unsafe vaccinations and environmental exposures to heavy metals, pesticides and other toxins.
You will not find credible information at the CDC website. They have been bought out by pharmaceutical companies lock stock and barrel. Virtually all their scientists have in the past or are currently on pharmaceutical companies pay-rolls or receive grant funding from same. It is a propaganda website on this issue.
Go to the links below side of the story you won't here from the vaccine manufacturers and their hired hands at the CDC.

With the statistics of autism being 1 child in every 166 it is reaching PANDEMIC proportions and no one really seems to care…
We still freak out about the stupid stuff like creating a completely germ free environment for kids (which is also very harmful) while 1 out of 166 is cursed to live with this mental disorder for life.
