ever since my hubby got back from Iraq...i kind of feel like we don't exist...no calls really at all from family and to top that today...there was a get together and we were not invited...i am upset because it hurt my feelings....do i tell them how i feel or just forget about it?

How long ago did Hubby get back? If it was pretty recent, they might think you guys are busy (wink wink).

Next time you see someone from your family, though, I don't think it would be out of line to ask why you were excluded. Let them know you were hurt.

If this problem begins to escalate, it could effect the way your husband feels. Just because he is home from Iraq does not mean that he doesn't need support from family & friends. I think what the family is doing is wrong and yes you need to tell them how you feel. God Bless.

I would call and ask a family member you are really close to what was up with not being invited. Then you should throw a welcome home party for your hubby! Invite them all so they can see you are both ready to reach out and be with them.

God bless you both for sacrificing so much of your lives!
