You trapped in a no win situation. A natural occurance has put in a place where you have no way out. There is a 99% chance you are going to die. Where do you get the hope or faith to go on? I do not want to hear about survival insticts that all animals (including humans) have. In a desprate situation we all something that keeps us going I want to know what it is.

Sorry to disappoint you if you thought I was going to pray to some deity to save me. If I did pray to a deity, it would be to save the others. How is my one life worth more than all of their lives?

Everyone is going to DIE, that is pretty much the only 100% thing in all of our realities. A person might THINK they will have a long life, but then get hit by a bus tomorrow. Everyday that we are on this earth, the percentage that today will be THE day goes up, why do you keep going? Why does anyone?
We are ALL going to die---a no win situation---a person can curl up in a ball and wet themselves OR they can go out on their terms, doing what they feel the NEED to do. It all comes down to NEED.

I am the only one of 3 kids that are still alive. My sister died at age 6 months, my brother died at age 16 I myself the youngest almost died at 17. I have been through several things in my like that looking back should have killed me. for 10 years straight someone in my family would die every year. that is till I was sick. after that there was a break of 1 year then it restarted and a person in my family has died each year. at least since 1987 I believe that God has a purpose for my life and no matter what the odds.. He will not put me through anything that I cannot handle, and if so He will by Grace give me the strength to make it through or intervene in such a way that I will survive to continue on and do what he has planned for me. when faced with such a dire circumstance I can only look back, and see what God has brought me through. and then look up, reach out and know that He is there. He will see me through. even though I have failed Him, He has never failed me!

I wouldn't even consider the 99% chance, even if the odds were completely against me I would have to try. Life is way too precious to give up on, and I don't want to die before I've lived as long as I possibly can.

I have love. I know it's not that great all-encompassing love that Christians think of, but human love is a pretty amazing thing, and can keep you going though the worst experiences life has to offer.

Each situation is different and the remedies are different.
Death is inevitable. "Change what one can change and accept what cannot be changed".
In my life - when everything is going well and I am happy, I know that the rain/fallstorm is going to come and so wait for it. It comes and then I wait patiently for it to go away and for the sun to shine again.

I find hope in the fact that someday everyone dies and i will not be the first to die or the last. my hope comes from knowing that the world WILL go on without me and that my path will soon be over!

My hope is in the promises of my Savior. This body WILL die, but Jesus promises me life eternal, not because of anything I have done, but what He accomplish for me on the cross.

It's God...
Paul said that if he died then he would be happy that he was in heaven and if he continued to live he would be happy to share the Word of God

Have Hope in the Lord God, and you will have what is across death.Do not worry about death,everybody has to die,however rich a person or however poor.however foolish or however wise.
But,those whoever believes in the Lord,will be saved. Do not worry, for it won`t help you.Pray to God and have hope in the Lord your God, and you will receive life after death.
