Yes.............. depending on the type of check run on you and by whom.

If the police stop you and run your license / name, any and all felony and many / all misdemeanor warrants will show up on the NCIC and state criminal wants / warrants files and you will be arrested if they issuing authority wishes to extradite.

If you are talking about employment checks for back grounds, it depends how deep the employers check. If they pay to have an official FBI NCIC (National Crime Information Center) Criminal History Report check run on you, not only will any and all past arrest and / or convictions show up but warrants / wants will also.

And they never go away.............. Until you are arrested or the warrant is satisfied in some other way.

Depends on how bad they want you. They can do an IRS or U.S. Dept of Labor search and will find your SSN and the employer that is withholding income tax or unemployment insurance. Busted!

Why not just take responsibility for your actions and not have this sword of Damocles hanging over your head?

Background investigation will be conducted where you live. Thus, your outstanding warrants/charges are traceable.

Yes, and I may be wrong, but I believe that if you cross a state border that the FBI becomes involved.

It's not just your place of employment, anytime you use your social security number, you can be traced. Also, if you use anything connected to your social security number, i.e. credit card, drivers license, etc., you'll be traced.

The government always knows where you are :P
