Frayed bell bottoms, a giant metal peace sign on a chain, and a flower in your hair. Splashy flowery prints like the Lilly line of dresses, were hugely popular. Get a jumper in a bold splash of prints. Or, maybe it's too late to do that.

Just go with elephant bells, low cut, and a tie-dyed T-shirt. And part your hair down the middle.

Mid 60s had the mod look--girls wore mini-skirts and had bouffants. Later 60s was the hippie thing--bell-bottoms, tie dye, beads, peace signs. I was only 6 when the 60s ended, but my favorite outfit from then was a pink vinyl jumper worn over a white turtle neck with my white boots.

Make your hair big and use lots of hairspray or get a wig.

Here are some examples of different hairstyles from the 1960s: http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&um=1&hl=en&q=1960s+hairstyle&btnG=Search+Images

To complete your hairstyle, wear capri pants and ballet flats. For that Mary Tyler Moore/Audrey Hepburn retro look.
