Of course our country has been altered irrevocably since 9-11. It brought to light to many unaware Americans that there are people out there that are willing to sacrifice their own lives to hurt our people simply because they hate us and want to destroy our way of life.
I think a better question would be did they get what they wanted. On one hand, we went to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban and who knows whether they expected that. On the other hand, in going to Afghanistan to fight them, we sort of validated them and you know that they like that.

Yeah, I agree plenty... “unfastened Will isn't. i've got not got the unfastened Will to be thirty as quickly as back or maybe six foot 2 and one hundred eighty kilos. i've got not got the unfastened Will to have been born because of the fact the sunlight King in 1638 or to have invented the telephone or to have had Natalie wood even purely as quickly as. unfastened Will is a furphy dreamed up with the aid of godsters who lacked the mind to verify the reality that there are purely some issues in life that we are able to truly choose for. we will not choose for our mum and dad, psychological quotient, status in society, our instructors. countless the flaws we 'can' choose for are little greater subtle than Pavlov's canines’ responses to his bells. and that i will guess the ravenous-loss of life little black toddler in Darfur is familiar with unfastened Will is a crock.” ~
