Get to be 120 years old. Even if you have any lust left, you won't be able to do anything about it.

Masturbation in itself is not a sin, whether you do, or it occurs during your sleep is the same. However, it is the thoughts behind the Masturbation that are the sin. To overcome the temptation try only focusing on a woman's face, as opposed to other places. Eventually you will not look there, and not fall into lust after them

Well, it's said that masturbation IS lusting, regardless of what or who you're thinking about. Because, you're enjoying sexual stimulation in a "non-reproductive" context. Of course, being an atheist, I disagree with this belief completely. Masturbation is a completely normal and healthy activity. But, that is the thought behind masturbation being a "sin".

Lust and masturbation are not sins. Sins against what? To over come them just don't masturbate and when you lust take a cold shower. Society may find the practice improper but not illegal.

Nothing wrong with masturbation!
Why do you think it's a sin?
Seems like a healthy way to avoid promiscuous sex and disease.
Ignoring your natural sexual urges just causes a lot of undue stress. Give up the guilt, man!
edit: Jim D, good one! Not many people know the origin of the word "sin". I just learned that recently.

Masturbation is not sinful. It is natural.
You cannot completely overcome lust as it is a natural human response to our need to reproduce but if you are really concerned I would recommend getting help.
This sounds like a religious concern, so try talking to your church and maybe go to porn addiction rehab.

Read the bible, pray and most important remember that is a sin you must confess to your spiritual leaders. Through those three things it is possible to overcome the habit and control your lust.

If you want to sin less follow this advice.
Take archery lessons and pay attention; get a good re-curve bow, maybe 50 lbs, some aluminum arrows, stay 30 feet from the target and practice, practice, practice.
I promise; you will sin less.

actually i dont think u can overcome that..because its a feeling that u have..i mean u can try..if u really wanna overcome that sin...but u also need to know, that everyone is not perfect, and that we all sin...not saying u CAN DO THAT BECAUSE EVERYBODY SINS...no, its not like that,,,im just saying if u really wanna overcome that u can try, which will be hard, but everytime ur getting the lust feeling, just try to remind urself that this is actually a sin, and try to think of something else, think about judgement day, or something that will copletely gets ur mind off of it

The above have some good input. Keep one thing in mind - you are wonderfully made, and God is not giving you desire without purpose behind it. Our God is not stacking the deck against you. Remember the loving nature of God, and procede joyfully. You'll figure this one out yourself.
Grace and peace!
