i see so many things i find offensive to my religious beliefs. if only the government would step in and start regulating the thoughts of people. then we'd have a great nation.

You're joking. You know it is impossible to regulate anyone's thoughts. If you want a "government" like that, move to a Communist country.

The American Constitution gave the others freedom of speech, so can't do anything about it. But you can use that same right to speak out with your own belifs. But be careful, if you don't be kind and such, you may turn people away from your beliefs.
