No...........

He intentionally violated the Debates Rules so that he could get his "15 minutes of fame" so that he could self admittedly post it all on his web site that he runs.

He did this all on purpose and did it to get as much as attention as he could.

He is an *** that did all he could to inflame and resist and he is going to pay the price for it for the rest of his life with a criminal record and reputation of being a punk.

I know you won't give me best answer as I suspect you are looking for validation for you anti-establishment position. I am just trying to tell you the truth... plain and simple.

No. Once he disobeyed the officers request - his right ended. I suspect there is a whole lot more to that story than the 5 second clip on the nightly news shows.

Free speech is not absolute. I can't go on this web site and post horrible un-true rumors about you and then claim that was my right of free speech.

He had crossed the border from free speech into disorderly conduct. He took it further by refusing to leave and then resisted arrest. No one has the right to say what they want, anytime, anywhere. There is a time and place for everything (the proverbial shouting fire in a movie theater example comes to mind).

He planned that stunt and got more then he bargained for. This poor horse has been whipped to the point of no return in this section of Y! Answers.

No!! He had ABUSED his right of free speech. The Q&A session was over, yet he demanded to be heard...and was given a forum. Others in the audience were only given one question per person...He got 2 and was going for 3. When asked to step down...AGAIN...not only did he refuse, but he became loud and abusive. When police tried to take him out of the room, he fought them...and he was a VERY big guy...just look at the videos. And finally, he had a history of creating public confrontations. The guy was LOOKING for trouble.

Bottom Line: He got what he deserved.

I'm not quite sure why people think this is a form of free speech under the 1st amendment. The First Amendment states the government will refrain from directing media what to say and print. It also refrains from interfering with a lawful assembly. Why do people think it has anything to do with a single person speaking their mind.

No, once they ask you to stop or sit down, and the police told him to step away, he didn't. He was causing a public disturbance. He was ranting about his political views, not simply stated a question.
Any one knows if you cause a scene at any political event they will haul your butt out of there.
There is free speech, and there is hurling political accusations with no evidence, and there is ranting.
You have to keep control of the situation or every lunatic would be up there.

Creating a disturbance in public is not free speech. It is disorderly conduct, which is a crime. So is resisting an officer.

Bragging earlier about how you are going to make a scene doesn't help your case.

THat guy had absolutely NO right to cause a disturbance at that event. He was given the opportunity to address Kerry, but instead chose to engage in a shout-fest.

He then elected to ignore a police order and struggle against them. He got exactly what he deserved.....

There is a proper way to do that, he was totally out of order and should have gone through normal channels to voice his opinion and should not have fought with them

No. He was asked numerous times to simply ask his question. He couldn't do that though and kept flappin' his lips. The school asked the police to remove him. When they did, he began fighting with them and they took him down and ultimately Tased him.

He got what he deserved.
