If you don't know anything about insurance, I don't know of any other level you can go into it at.

If you do not have experience in the insurance industry -the only way your going to get in is at an entry level position. I used to work for one company, where the CEO started out in the mail room. Granted...he did not go straight from mail room to CEO - but you got to start somewhere.

Nobody likes to deal with insurance people. If that doesn't bother you, go for it. The business of frightening people into giving you money on a gamble that they will or will not have troubles is kind of heartless but everyone needs it - kind of like being a funeral director.
