One of the best things about Oahu is that its shape means that it gets all kinds of weather. In February, it's rainy and cloudy on the windward side.
However, the leeward side is usually sunny, with occaisonal short bursts of hard rains (by short, I mean 5-30 minutes long). After the rain, the sun comes out instantly (thus all the rainbows).
So, to avoid the rain, just make sure you stay on the leeward side (that's anywhere from Waikiki to Makaha). You'll have great waves, tropical breezes, green landscape and lots of sun.

The worst weather on Oahu is the rainy season, and we used to call the rain pineapple juice, because you barely got wet and dried off immediately. Unless, there's a tidal wave or typhoon, there's nothing to worry about. February is lovely, but a bit unpredictable. I wouldn't give it a thought. Just go! If it rains, pick up an umbrella there.

In February, some days are rainy and some days are sunny. The same can be said about any day of the year here though.....
Happy travels!

Last year the rainy season was March - April. It rained 40 days and 40 nights. This year rained on and off April - May. So every year changes. I've lived here all my life.

February is a nice time to visit if you're not into very hot weather. Feb is cool, windy, and sporadically sunny.
